Senior Maintenance Technician

Responsibilities

Carry out preventive maintenance (daily, weekly, and monthly) according to schedule.

Ensure all machinery and facilities meet safe and efficient operational standards.

Handle complex machine failures (mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic) and analyze the root cause of machine failures (RCA).

Perform emergency repairs quickly to minimize downtime.

Provide engineering improvement recommendations to prevent recurrence of problems.

Provide training on machine maintenance, safety, and work procedures.

Coordinate with production, engineering, and quality to ensure smooth operations.

Ensure compliance with safety standards and work procedures.

Prepare monthly reports on machine condition, maintenance activities, and spare part requirements.

Ensure all maintenance work is carried out in accordance with applicable OHS standards.

Qualifications

Minimum D3/S1 degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or equivalent.

Minimum 3–5 years of experience in industrial maintenance.

Understanding of mechanical systems, electric motors, PLCs, pneumatics, hydraulics, and basic controls.

Able to read technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and machine manuals.

Disciplined, honest, and responsible.

Strong leadership and problem-solving skills.

Willing to work shifts and be on-call when needed.
