Sales Engineer (UPS / MV Switchgear)

Job purpose As Technical expertise and service engineer in UPS (Uninterruptible Power Supply) products and act as product owner of battery energy storage system (UPS Engineer).

Reporting to the Service Manager, you will be responsible for execution, installation and test & commissioning and after sales of UPS and Battery (UPS Engineer).

As Technical expertise and service engineer in MV Switchgear products (Switchgear Engineer).

Reporting to Service Manager, you will be responsible for execution, installation and test & commissioning and after sales of Switchgears products (Switchgear Engineer).

Responsibilities

Independently execute Field Service activities such as test & commissioning of UPS and battery energy storage system (Service Engineer for UPS).

Independently execute Field Service activities such as test & commissioning of MV Switchgear (Service Engineer for Switchgear).

Provide technical support for UPS products in general and battery energy storage system (Service Engineer for UPS)

Provide technical support for MV Switchgear products in general (Service Engineer for Switchgear)

Manage service request from customer

Conduct technical presentation to customer with sales team

Conduct site and classroom training to customers

Perform installation, inspection, diagnose, maintenance and rectification on UPS & Battery energy storage system at various commercial and industrial establishments.

Perform installation, inspection, diagnose, maintenance and rectification on MV Switchgears system at various commercial and industrial establishments.

Recommend necessary actions to improve the efficiency and reliability of UPS & battery storage system

General service report writing for internal and external customers.

Document and prepare field service quality reports. If there are quality problems, it is necessary to feedback specific product defects to the production department and assist customers to take corrective measures.

Requirements

A degree (at least D3) in Electrical or Electronic Engineering is preferable

Have driving license (SIM A / C)

Minimum 3 years’ experience in service, installation and site testing & commissioning for MV Switchgear/UPS

Having experience handling battery energy storage system (UPS Engineer)

Able to create an Electrical panel control system

Able to operate Autocad, Ms. Office

Able to use measuring instruments

Good presentation, communication and team-building skills

Able to work independently under minimum supervision.

Self-reliant, has high energy, multitasking, and self-motivated person

Experience in the Electrical panel manufacturing industry is an added value

Understanding PLC programs is an added value

Accompany technical sales meetings/technical clarifications if necessary

Make panel wiring modifications if necessary

Make panel approval drawings if necessary
