Content Writing Senior Specialist
to write, optimize, and refine high‑quality content that matches Aspire's tone of voice and supports our SEO content plan.
This is a
hands‑on writing and editing role
for someone who ships consistently, cares about craft, and can turn a clear brief into a strong piece of content. You'll work closely with the SEO team to execute their strategy writing new pieces, improving existing pages based on clear optimization instructions, and raising the quality bar across the content library.
You'll also act as an
editor for freelance content , reviewing drafts for clarity, accuracy, structure, and ToV. You'll collaborate with freelancers directly to improve output quality partnering closely with the SEO manager to keep standards high and delivery smooth, without being a formal people manager.
If you've written in a fast‑paced newsroom, agency, or fast‑growth startup, and you enjoy making complex topics feel simple, you'll fit right in.
What You'll Do
Create content that differentiates Aspire in the fintech space, deepens trust with founders, and brings our cross‑border narrative to life.
Review, edit and upload content created by in‑house and freelance content writers.
Optimize new and existing content based on SEO briefs and instructions, including improving structure, on‑page elements (titles, headings, internal links), clarity, and intent match and working with freelancers to apply those improvements consistently.
Cross‑Functional Collaboration
Reporting directly to SEO Global Lead, you will work closely with PR, Campaigns, Social Media teams to bring content to life, and ensure the strategy ladders up to broader company objectives.
Coordinate with the Brand team (but not directly manage Brand content) to ensure alignment on priorities.
Lead & Manage
Work with the SEO managers to coordinate a small group of in‑house and freelance writers setting clear briefs, giving actionable feedback, and raising the quality bar across drafts.
Uphold Aspire's tone of voice, ensuring content feels founder‑first, global, and high‑taste.
About You
24 years of experience in content writing, journalism, editorial, or content marketing ideally in fast‑paced or high‑growth environments.
Strong writing and editing skills with a sharp eye for structure, narrative flow, and tone. You care about the details and you genuinely enjoy the craft.
Basic SEO awareness: you can follow briefs, implement on‑page updates, and catch obvious issues like misaligned intent, weak headings, and internal linking gaps.
Comfortable coordinating a small group of freelance writers (partnering closely with the SEO managers) keeping output quality high, giving clear feedback, and supporting smooth delivery, while staying hands‑on day to day.
Confident reviewing and improving other writers work tightening drafts, fixing clarity issues, aligning to Aspire's ToV, and ensuring factual accuracy.
High editorial standards and strong judgement you know what good looks like, and you can explain why something works (or doesn't).
Comfortable in newsroom‑style or agency environments where speed, clarity, and adaptability matter you're resourceful, pragmatic, and can handle shifting priorities without losing quality.
