Responsibilities
Head Chef
Oversee daily kitchen operations and ensure food quality and consistency
Plan menus and create new, innovative dishes
Manage, train, and schedule kitchen staff
Monitor inventory, order supplies, and control food costs
Ensure compliance with hygiene, health, and safety regulations
Coordinate with front-of-house staff for smooth service
Maintain equipment and oversee kitchen cleanliness and organization
Chef
Prepare high-quality dishes according to the restaurant's menu and standards.
Ensure that ingredients and final products are fresh, flavorful, and meet quality expectations.
Work efficiently under pressure to deliver high-quality food during busy service periods.
Follow kitchen procedures to ensure smooth and organized service.
Monitor ingredient freshness, stock levels, and assist in ordering supplies.
Ensure correct food storage and labelling.
Follow all food safety, hygiene, and health & safety regulations (HACCP knowledge preferred).
Maintain a clean and safe work area, including handling utensils, equipment, and dishes.
Maintain a positive and professional attitude in the kitchen.
Set up workstations with required ingredients and equipment.
Salary & Benefits
Salary: USD 1,115 nett (Head Chef) ; USD 750 nett (Chef)
Period of contract: 2 years
Work Hours: 40 hours/week
Air Ticket: Indonesia — Romania — Indonesia
Vacation / Annual Leave: 21 days
Meals: one meal per day while being on shift (duty meal)
Housing: accommodation included
Insurance: health insurance according to Romanian laws
Transportation: when finishing shift after 11 pm
Medical: health insurance according to Romanian laws
Uniform: uniform included
Overtime: according to Romanian labor laws
Qualifications
19 - 45 years old
Previous experience as Hotel Chef
Able to speak English
Knife cutting and hot kitchen cooking skills (proven by demo video)
