Nursing Aide [St. Andrew's Adult Home (Sengkang)]

Job Description

Conduct and record regular health check for residents

Assist in dispensing of medication, when necessary

Coordinate and escort clients for appointments at hospitals/ polyclinics

Provide personal hygiene, grooming care for the residents e.g. bathing, nail cutting etc where necessary

Support residents in maintaining/improving their daily living (ADLs), community living (CLSs) and Emotional & Behavioral (EBMs) skills.

Coordinate with therapists/ psychologists and assist in the required interventions for residents

Facilitate and conduct activities programs e.g. art and craft, music & dance, etc

Support residents for outings, events or interaction with volunteers/ donors.

Attend and submit reports of emergencies when it arises

Any other duties as may be assigned from time to time

Job Specifications

Must be a diploma / degree graduate in Nursing

Candidate with supervisory skills will be of advantage

PC literate and proficient in Microsoft Office applications

Able to work in a fast pace work environment

Have a sense of urgency and ability to prioritise

Experience in community/special needs settings will be advantageous.
