The Opportunity The New Business Initiatives team of project managers is a critical driver of Agoda and Finance department’s success, balancing innovation and growth with smart risk management. This role provides strategic insights to Agoda’s business leaders in pursuing sustainable and scalable new initiatives and aims to deliver world-class execution for projects.

We are looking for a talented, results-oriented Finance Manager to join the Agoda finance team. You will have:

A front row seat on key Agoda strategic initiatives

Opportunity to drive implementation of those key initiatives with a Finance lens

Partnership with a diverse set of stakeholders across IT, Product, Legal, Business teams, Marketing, Customer Services, and more

Leverage organizational skills and subject matter expertise to make an impact

Lead initiatives to streamline and integrate financial processes across teams, ensuring efficiency, scalability, and alignment with organizational goals

Successful candidates tend to be articulate, self-starters who are comfortable in environments with volatility, ambiguity, and complexity. They are organized, have strong interpersonal skills, and can partner effectively with cross-functional teams in a results-oriented manner.

Responsibilities

Project manage and implement various company-wide strategic initiatives

Assess implications of new initiatives for finance functions (accounting, tax, operations, treasury, commercial, financial systems, risk & control, etc.)

Coordinate with stakeholders to gather requirements, optimize processes and workflows, and make trade-off decisions

Ensure constant communication and calibration between project teams and stakeholders

Represent finance in cross-functional forums and influence stakeholders to incorporate Finance requirements into roadmaps

Ensure timely progress and achievement of milestones by coordinating workstreams, identifying risks, and proposing mitigations

Assist with UAT testing and post-launch issue resolution

What you’ll Need to Succeed

5+ years of project management experience, preferably related to Finance

Ideally experience in tech/e-commerce, finance operations, and business analysis

Extensive stakeholder management experience and ability to influence people

Process integration expertise in a fast-paced environment

Undergraduate degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or related fields (professional qualifications also acceptable)

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multicultural, high-intensity environment

Comfort with uncertainty and experimentation in a high-velocity environment

Strong numerical, analytical, problem-solving, influencing, and change-management skills

Attention to detail, self-motivation, continuous improvement mindset, and learning agility

Excellent written and verbal communication, organizational and planning skills, with solid interpersonal abilities

Dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results orientation

It’s Great if you have

Experience with finance tools and processes, including accounting and reporting knowledge

Experience working closely with Product and IT

Experience working in cross-functional finance (accounting, operations, treasury, FP&A, financial systems, etc.)
