Long Term Planning Assistant Manager

Job Overview We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Long Term Planning Assistant Manager to join our team in Jakarta, Indonesia. This position is responsible for developing, evaluating, and optimizing long‑term mine plans to support sustainable, safe, and economically viable mining operations. The role ensures compliance with Indonesian mining regulations while delivering technically sound mine designs, reserve estimations, feasibility studies, and regulatory documentation.

Key Responsibilities

Assist the Long Term Planning Manager in developing and implementing long‑term mine plans that optimize the extraction of mineral resources and meet production targets

Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure alignment of long‑term plans with short‑term plans and operational goals

Conduct regular reviews and analysis of mine plans to identify potential risks and opportunities

Provide technical support and guidance to the mine planning team

Prepare and present reports on long‑term plans to senior management and stakeholders

Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in mine planning and make recommendations for improvement

Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Mining Engineering or related field

Minimum of 5 years of experience in mine planning

Demonstrated experience in the preparation of mineral reserve estimation documentation

Demonstrated experience in the preparation of feasibility study (FS) documentation

Demonstrated experience in mine design and the development of supporting mining infrastructure

Possesses fundamental knowledge of mining cost estimation and margin analysis

Demonstrated experience in preparing RKAB documentation in accordance with Indonesian mining regulations

Has been involved in the preparation of AMDAL documentation, specifically in the technical aspects of mining operations

Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
