Product Owner

Responsibilities

Support the creation and maintenance of product backlog aligned with the roadmap and business priorities, ensuring transparency across stakeholders.

Track and report on daily product development progress, raising issues or risks promptly to keep delivery on track.

Translate user stories and business requirements into clear, actionable tasks for developers, collaborating closely with Product Design and Engineering teams.

Assist in coordination with third parties (vendors or clients) for system integration and enhancement activities.

Participate in User Acceptance Tests (UAT) to validate deliverables before release.

Join internal and client meetings to capture issues, listen actively, and ensure follow-ups address real needs.

Conduct requirement gathering, product research, and basic evaluations to support product improvements.

Requirements

Minimum 2+ years experience as a Product Owner in software/product development, preferably in POS or ERP systems.

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or related field.

Proven experience in POS system development or enhancement, including knowledge of POS calculation logic and API integration.

Proficient in creating PRDs (and supporting docs such as BRDs/proposals) to align business and technical needs.

Familiar with go-to-market processes, User testing, and adoption tracking.

Proficient in Jira (backlog, epics, stories, sprint tracking) and Google Analytics (adoption & user behavior analysis).

Solid analytical and logical thinking, with strengths in problem-solving, prioritization, and decision-making.

A clear and effective communicator who values transparency and trust.

Ability to understand and balance user needs, business goals, and team capacity.

Comfortable in dynamic environments, adaptable to change, and proactive in driving improvements.
