This role is part of Alcon's Engineering function, a team focused on improving quality, processes, products, packaging and materials across our business to help deliver brilliant outcomes.
The Associate I, Repair & Maintenance Engineering (Science/Tech/Engineering Path), is primarily responsible for assisting in planning, designing, and implementing maintenance programs for facilities and equipment. You will coordinate maintenance work, review engineering specifications, and participate in equipment installation. Specifics include:
In this role, a typical day will include:
Performing hands-on troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of equipment and systems
Conducting preventive and corrective maintenance following established procedures
Identifying technical issues and determining effective repair solutions
Reading and interpreting technical drawings, schematics, manuals, and work instructions
Operating and maintaining mechanical, electrical, and electronic components safely
Using hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments accurately
Supporting installation, modification, and testing of equipment
Ensuring equipment meets required specifications after repair
Handling EQE activities to support shift operations
WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO ALCON:
Diploma Degree in Engineering, preferably in Mechanical, Electronics, or Mechatronics; Bachelor’s Degree is preferred.
1-2 years of relevant experience
Good knowledge of automation and HPLC
Strong understanding of Preventive Maintenance
Good communication skills in Bahasa.
Good command of English is preferred
Hands-on technical hands-on skills for troubleshooting and repair would be preferred
Good understanding of Power BI or similar tools would be preferred
Good knowledge of CSV (Computer System Validation) would be preferred
