Job Description
The Digital Trading & Partnerships Manager is responsible for leading programmatic and biddable media trading, extracting maximum value from partners through revenue rebates and incentives, and building a scalable framework to sell and grow programmatic campaigns. This role combines hands‑on trading expertise, partnership negotiations, and internal enablement, ensuring both revenue optimization and client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
Digital Trading & Revenue Management
Lead programmatic trading across DSPs (DV360, The Trade Desk, Xandr, Amobee, etc.) with strong focus on ROI and efficiency.
Monitor and optimize campaigns against client KPIs (ROAS, CPA, CPM, CTR, VTR).
Track and extract rebates, volume discounts, and incentives from DSPs, SSPs, and ad tech partners.
Ensure accurate revenue recognition, margin protection, and reporting of trading gains.
Develop trading playbooks and SOPs for consistent campaign execution and performance.
Partnerships & Commercial Negotiations
Build strong relationships with DSPs, SSPs, data partners, and publishers to unlock financial incentives.
Negotiate annual trading agreements, rebates, and value‑added benefits (e.g., credits, free data, tech support).
Benchmark rates, identify cost‑saving opportunities, and ensure competitiveness in the market.
Liaise with Finance and Leadership teams to track rebate performance vs. annual targets.
Programmatic Sales Enablement
Work closely with Client Servicing & Planning teams to develop programmatic‑first solutions for clients.
Train and coach internal teams on programmatic benefits, trading strategies, and sales narratives.
Create proactive sales materials (case studies, benchmarks, pricing models) to support client pitches.
Support teams in client meetings to explain trading mechanics, KPIs, and commercial value.
Collaborate with Business Development to integrate programmatic offerings into proposals.
Data, Technology & Innovation
Leverage DMPs, data marketplaces, and analytics tools to enhance targeting and personalization.
Drive adoption of new programmatic features (CTV, DOOH, audio, commerce media, retail media).
Explore AI‑driven optimization, predictive bidding, and audience modeling.
Recommend tech stack improvements to drive efficiency and scale.
