Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including relationship managers, product specialists, and compliance, to ensure the legal and regulatory aspects of transactions are properly addressed. Develop and maintain a deep understanding of global financial market trends, regulations, and best practices related to banking and finance transactions. Contribute to the development and implementation of policies, procedures, and controls to mitigate legal and compliance risks. Stay up-to-date with changes in relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards, and advise the business accordingly. Assist in the review and negotiation of complex legal documentation, ensuring the bank's interests are protected. Provide guidance and training to the business on legal and compliance matters.
