The Opportunity We’re looking for a

Backend Developer

to join our talented engineering team and help scale the infrastructure powering the future of visual collaboration. You’ll build reliable, efficient, and secure backend systems that serve thousands of active creators and enterprise clients across Asia. You’ll work closely with product, AI, and frontend teams to design, develop, and deploy new features—impacting everything from data processing to user experiences in Gump’s fast-growing ecosystem.

What You’ll Do Design and build scalable backend APIs and microservices using

Node.js

and

TypeScript Implement and optimize integrations with

PostgreSQL

and

Redis

for performance and reliability Collaborate with frontend engineers using

ReactJS

to ensure seamless user experiences Apply

OOP principles

and modern design patterns to write maintainable, testable code Containerize and deploy services using

Docker

and CI/CD pipelines Work cross-functionally with AI, devops, and product teams to deliver new platform capabilities Participate in code reviews, testing, and continuous improvement of our engineering practices

What You Bring 1–3 years of hands-on experience in backend or full-stack development Solid knowledge of

Node.js ,

TypeScript ,

Docker , and

object-oriented programming Familiarity with

PostgreSQL

and

Redis

for data persistence and caching Understanding of RESTful API design, authentication, and performance optimization Strong debugging, problem-solving, and collaboration skills Experience with

AWS

cloud services (Lambda, ECS, S3, etc.) Exposure to

Infrastructure as Code

tools (AWS CDK, Terraform) Interest in AI-driven products or large-scale media systems
