Construction Manager (Experienced Offshore)
CONSTRUCTION MANAGER - PROJECT BASED HIRE
Responsibilities:
Lead the construction team to execute the project plan, ensuring alignment with project objectives, timelines, and quality standards.
Manage construction operations, ensuring effective coordination of activities, schedules, and resources.
Collaborate with the Project Manager, engineering teams, and stakeholders to ensure construction activities align with project specifications and design.
Monitor and control construction costs, tracking project expenses against the budget and providing timely reports.
Ensure strict compliance with safety regulations and standards, promoting a safety-first culture on the construction site.
Resolve any construction-related issues to keep the project on track.
Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers, ensuring timely delivery of materials and services as per project requirements.
Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, quality, and safety practices.
Implement quality control measures to ensure construction meets the specified standards.
Prepare and present regular construction progress reports to the Project Manager and other relevant stakeholders.
Requirements
Bachelorโs degree in Civil Engineering or related major
Minimum 10 years of experience as a Construction Manager, Construction Lead, Senior Construction Engineer, or similar position. Having experience in Oil & Gas EPC and Offshore projects
Strong understanding of construction processes, techniques, and industry best practices.
Ability to manage complex construction projects from start to finish while maintaining schedule and quality compliance.
Knowledge of safety regulations, environmental policies, and construction standards.
Solid understanding of construction budgeting, cost control, and financial reporting.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage construction teams and coordinate with stakeholders.
Effective communication and conflict-resolution skills, able to foster collaboration among diverse groups.
Ability to anticipate and resolve potential construction issues in a timely manner.
Strong decision-making skills, balancing considerations of time, cost, and quality in a construction environment.
Willing to be placed in Head Office, Fabrication or Site area
