Finance Director (Mandarin Speaker)

Job Description Financial Management & Reporting

Oversee daily accounting operations (GL, AR/AP, monthly & annual closings).

Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting in compliance with IFRS and local GAAP.

Taxation & Compliance

Lead tax planning and compliance (corporate income tax, VAT, withholding).

Stay up to date with local tax regulations; liaise with external tax advisors.

Audit & Internal Controls

Manage annual external and internal audits.

Develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and internal controls.

Budgeting & Forecasting

Prepare annual budgets and rolling forecasts.

Monitor financial KPIs, conduct variance analysis, and drive corrective actions.

Cash & Treasury Management

Manage cash flow, liquidity planning, and banking relationships.

Supervise FX risks and cross-border fund transfers.

Strategic Finance Partner

Advise the Board and executive team on capital allocation and risk management.

Support business development, pricing strategy, and investment evaluation.

International Trade & Tariff Compliance

Ensure compliance with import/export regulations and ASEAN–China trade tariffs.

Oversee customs documentation and tariff optimization for vehicle imports.

✅ Requirements

Education Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field. Master’s degree and CPA certification are preferred.

Experience Min. 10 years in senior finance leadership roles (automotive/manufacturing/trading). Proven expertise in tax, audit, treasury, and international finance.

Language Skills Fluency in Mandarin and English (written & spoken). Bahasa Indonesia proficiency is a plus.

Technical Skills Strong knowledge of Indonesian tax (CIT, VAT, WHT, transfer pricing). Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle). Advanced Excel & financial analysis skills.

Leadership & Communication Demonstrated ability to lead and develop high-performing finance teams. Excellent cross-cultural communication, especially across Indonesia, China & Singapore.
