Job Description
Key Responsibilities
Perform installation, configuration, and commissioning of EPC/5GC/IMS/HSS/UDM network elements.
Integrate CN elements with RAN, Transmission/IP, Charging, and OSS systems.
Network Testing & Acceptance
Prepare and execute test cases for functionality tests (attach, session establishment, VoLTE/VoNR call flows).
Interface testing (S1/N2/N4/S6a/SIP/DIAMETER/HTTP2).
Performance and stability testing.
Support operator acceptance activities and generate test reports.
Cutover & Migration Support
Assist in live‑network cutover, traffic migration, feature activation, and rollback plan execution.
Monitor network KPIs (registration success rate, call setup success, session drop rate).
Provide immediate on‑site issue analysis during cutover windows.
Troubleshooting & Maintenance
Perform first‑line and second‑line troubleshooting using logs, traces, and Wireshark.
Work with HQ R&D/Backline teams to resolve complex issues.
Perform routine health checks, system upgrades, patch installation, and backup/restore.
Documentation & Reporting
Prepare installation records, configuration documents, MoP/SOP, daily reports, and acceptance documents.
Keep accurate records of network changes, risks, and customer issues.
Customer Coordination
Communicate with operator engineers on site for requirement clarification, implementation planning, and acceptance coordination.
Provide technical explanation and guidance to customers during delivery.
Qualifications
Education
– Bachelor’s degree or above in Telecommunications, Electronics, Computer Science, or a related field.
Experience
– 2–5 years in telecom core network delivery, integration, testing, or on‑site support. Hands‑on with 4G/5G Core components (MME/SGW/PGW or AMF/SMF/UPF) or IMS.
Technical Skills
Core network architecture (EPC/SA/IMS).
Signaling flows: Attach/Registration, VoLTE/VoNR call flow, bearer setup.
Key protocols: SIP, DIAMETER, HTTP2, GTP, NGAP, SCTP, IP routing.
Basic experience with virtualization/cloud platforms: OpenStack/Kubernetes deployment, VM/pod operations.
Able to read logs, traces, Wireshark captures, and perform root cause analysis.
Delivery Skills
Experience preparing installation guides, MoP, LLD, and acceptance documents.
Able to work under time pressure during cutover and fault scenarios.
Strong execution discipline and on‑site troubleshooting ability.
Soft Skills
Good communication with customer engineers.
Strong teamwork, self‑driven, willingness to travel frequently.
Good English reading & basic spoken communication.
