Overview Agro Cold Storage Assistant Manager will manage cold storage operations including staff to receive, store and supply potatoes according to production requirements while optimizing the storage process to limit damage and maximize utilization. This role will also ensure cold storage operates in the best conditions and propose initiatives to improve operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

Plan personnel arrangement to receive potatoes based on the supplier’s or Agro Team’s plans to optimize costs and ensure quality.

Coordinate with production and quality departments to supply potatoes in a timely manner, optimizing quality to avoid disposal.

Monitor potato condition to ensure optimal storage conditions.

Supervise implementation of inbound, outbound, and destruction processes to ensure accurate quantity and quality.

Provide feedback on potato quality results at the factory to the Agro Team and suppliers.

Report periodically on key control indicators (KPIs) of the cold storage.

Inspect equipment to ensure technical standards are met, notifying relevant departments for timely repair.

As Control Owner, perform control responsibilities according to PepsiCo’s control model, support Process Owner, evaluate control effectiveness, maintain audit trails, and ensure corrective actions.

Organize employee training on techniques and work processes.

Train and assist production staff in adjusting and calibrating equipment.

Set goals and evaluate work achievements according to the PMP process.

Recommend rewards and discipline for employees.

Communicate policies and information to employees promptly.

Participate in periodic meetings between supervisors and team leaders to agree on implementation plans and update issues related to techniques, production plans, and work performance.

Participate in troubleshooting equipment problems and manage human resources for employees unable to solve problems.

Qualifications

Minimum Bachelor’s degree in a related field (ideally agronomy or agro technology).

Proficiency in MS Office applications with excellent Excel and PowerPoint skills.

Proven communication skills in English – verbal and written.

Problem‑solving skills.

Strong analytical ability.

Results‑driven with attention to details.

Ability to find solutions and adapt.

Initiative and follow-through, process‑oriented.
