AutoCAD Drafter

We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically proficient AutoCAD Drafter to join our M&E team, supporting a diverse range of projects across buildings, industrial, and power sectors. This role involves producing high-quality technical drawings and documentation to support the design and delivery of building services, industrial systems, and power infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare accurate 2D and 3D drawings using AutoCAD for mechanical and electrical systems across buildings, industrial facilities, and power projects.

Develop motor starter schematics, instrumentation layouts, and P&ID diagrams.

Collaborate with engineers and project managers to ensure drawings meet project specifications and standards.

Maintain drawing registers and ensure version control across all documentation.

Assist in the coordination of services layouts with architectural and structural disciplines.

Ensure compliance with local codes, BECA standards, and client requirements.

Qualifications & Experience

Diploma or Certificate in Drafting, Engineering, or a related field.

Minimum 2 years of experience in AutoCAD drafting within building services, industrial, or power sectors.

Proficiency in AutoCAD; experience with Revit or other BIM tools is an advantage but not required.

Familiarity with M&E systems or Electrical, instrumentation & Controls (EIC).

Experience with Autodesk Inventor is a bonus but not a requirement.

Strong attention to detail and ability to work within tight deadlines.
