Job Description
Qualifications:
Bachelor degree of chemical engineering, bachelor of environmental engineering, science, or public health.
Ability to communicate in English (speaking & writing).
Experience at least 1 year in Sustainability.
Detail oriented person.
Responsibilities
Work Streams: Support in implementing/executing strategies or methods carried out by each work stream and management of the long-term initiatives.
Liaise with legal authorities such as BOI, Sustainable Energy Authority (SEA), Central Environmental Authority (CEA), Forest Department, Department of Wildlife and Conservation etc. with regard to sustainability initiative approvals and reports pertaining to performances and indices on same.
Emissions & Energy: Support the climate management strategies of MAS Holdings.
Waste: Support initiatives to value enhance waste and other efforts to responsibly dispose of non-recyclable waste.
Conduct/monitor regular testing of wastewater at SBUs and ensure adherence to Government/BOI or other relevant standards.
Water: Support initiatives to conserve water and increase water efficiency at all SBUs.
Biodiversity: Ensure effective implementation of biodiversity projects selected by the division, assess and report the progress of biodiversity projects through periodical site visits and reviews.
Culture: Implement programs to create awareness on environment amongst employees and help improve organizational culture, plan and implement Environmental.
Support in the maintenance of the environmental management system of the division as per the international standards such as ISO 14001:2015 and ISO14064.
Manufacturing, Transport & Logistics 101-1,000 employees.
