Job Summary The Maintenance Specialist is accountable for preparing and delivering execution readiness of preventative maintenance and equipment repair activities for offshore and onshore at TANGGUH LNG facility. The candidate advises prioritization of work and drives delivery of the facility’s maintenance backlog, proposes improvements to minimize equipment downtime, ensures safe execution, and supports reliable operations.

Job Responsibilities

Ensure site readiness for upcoming execution schedules via CMMS, coordinating resources, materials, schedules, and safety controls.

Plan and support the Maintenance Team Leader for urgent maintenance work that may interrupt the 2‑week schedule, allowing technicians to focus on repair job execution.

Ensure all maintenance work close‑out complies with CMMS data standards, monitor and improve resource efficiency, and resolve system issues.

Provide site‑based technical support to equipment maintenance, assist technicians with troubleshooting, and investigate equipment issues.

Support competency of asset maintenance technicians per Global CMAS, ensuring compliance with minimum competency requirements.

Participate in scope development for TAR / Campaign / Major Repairs work.

Participate in Task Risk Assessment / LTRA.

Participate in Root Cause Failure Analysis for improvement of corrective and preventive maintenance.

Participate in the development and continuous improvement of Equipment Strategies and recommendations for Operator Basic Care.

Qualifications

Engineering or Technical Degree within Maintenance Craft.

Proven experience in oil and gas (or related industry) at a supervisory level.

Direct experience delivering and driving work within maintenance and operations.

Familiarity with CMMS (e.g., SAP, Maximo) and Risk Assessment.

Understanding of Turnaround availability review processes.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Experience with High Voltage Switchgear, Power Generation (33kV, 66kV), Combined Cycle Power Plant and electrical power switching with Emergency Diesel Generators.

Priority consideration will be given to Papuan applicants who meet the requirements.
