The Role
We are currently looking for a passionate Domestic Assistant to support our clients within the following suburbs:
Ascot, Belmont, Burswood, Carlisle, Cloverdale, Kewdale, Lathlain, Redcliffe, Rivervale (please note only applicants living within or near these suburbs will be considered).
This is a casual role, Our busiest period of care delivery is as follows:
Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 3:00pm . Minimum of three days a week availability preferred.
Our Domestic Assistants support clients to undertake domestic tasks in the home such as prescribed within the care/support plan enhancing and encouraging participation in their own care to maintain their independence, where possible. Responsibilities include a range of domestic tasks incl. making their beds, ironing, laundry, dusting, vacuuming and mopping the floor, with some social support in the community. Domestic Assistants will follow a predetermined schedule, travelling from home to home, therefore having unrestricted access to a vehicle and the ability to follow a digital schedule and care plan autonomously, via a mobile app, will be essential. Experience in the role is desirable, however not essential. If you have 3-6 months experience in a cleaning role, weโd love to hear from you!
About You
3-6 months Domestic/Industrial cleaning experience is highly desirable.
A valid Driversโ License with unrestricted access to a registered vehicle which is appropriately insured and in good condition, is essential.
Ability and willingness to work autonomously in the community, travelling from home to home, referring to a digital schedule and care plan, via a mobile app, will be essential.
Excellent interpersonal and communication (verbal & written) skills are essential.
