QC Supervisor

QC Supervisor Join to apply for the QC Supervisor role at Siegwerk.

Responsibilities

Supervise QC staff in daily testing and inspection of raw materials, intermediates, and finished ink products.

Ensure all quality control procedures are followed according to internal SOPs and industry standards.

Review and approve batch records, test results, and certificates of analysis.

Monitor production processes to identify quality deviations and initiate corrective actions.

Coordinate with R&D and production teams to resolve formulation or process-related issues.

Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability.

Lead root cause analysis and implement corrective/preventive actions (CAPA).

Prepare and present quality reports, trend analysis, and improvement plans to management.

Support audits (internal, customer, ISO) and ensure compliance with relevant standards (e.g., ISO 9001, ISO 14001).

Train QC personnel on testing methods, safety protocols, and quality standards.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related field.

Minimum 3–5 years of experience in QC within ink, paint, coatings, or chemical manufacturing.

Familiarity with analytical instruments (e.g., viscometer, spectrophotometer, pH meter).

Knowledge of ISO standards and regulatory requirements relevant to ink production.

Excellent leadership, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
