The Head of IT Security is responsible for leading the company’s overall information security strategy, ensuring the protection of digital assets, and maintaining compliance with regulatory and industry standards. This role oversees security operations, incident response, risk management, application and cloud security, and drives continuous improvement of the organization's security posture. The Head of IT Security also leads the security team, manages external vendors, and collaborates with cross-functional leaders to align security initiatives with business objectives.

Strong knowledge of information security frameworks and standards (ISO 27001, NIST CSF, CIS Controls).

Deep understanding of regulatory requirements (PDP Law, GDPR, industry-specific compliance).

Expertise in security operations, threat detection, and incident response.

Proficiency in cloud security architecture (AWS, Azure, GCP).

Experience with application security, secure coding practices, and DevSecOps.

Strong understanding of network security, firewalls, IDS/IPS, and zero-trust architecture.

Ability to perform risk assessments, vulnerability management, and penetration testing oversight.

Experience implementing security governance, policies, and audit processes.

Knowledge of identity and access management (IAM, SSO, PAM).

Familiarity with security tools (SIEM, EDR, DLP, WAF, SOC platforms).
