Procurement & Import Staff

Summary PT. GEMILANG MESIN INDONESIA, a leading manufacturing company in Indonesia, is currently seeking an experienced and dedicated Procurement & Import Staff to join our team based in West Jakarta, Jakarta. In this role, you will become part of our dynamic procurement team and play a key role in establishing and maintaining strong supplier relationships as well as driving.

Responsibilities

Identify, research, and evaluate potential new vendors for local product, equipment, and other operational necessities.

Manage the complete procurement process, including sending out inquiries, collecting quotations, and analyzing proposals.

Lead negotiations with vendors regarding prices, payment terms, delivery schedules, and other contractual conditions to secure the most favorable terms for the company.

Build and maintain strong, positive relationships with key suppliers to ensure long-term partnership and reliability.

Monitor market trends, pricing, and new products within the manufacture industry to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.

Maintain accurate records of all procurement activities, including contracts, pricing, and vendor performance.

Qualifications

Female, maximum age 35 years.

Residing or living around West Jakarta or Tangerang area.

Fluent in Mandarin and English (both spoken and written).

Minimum education: Diploma (D3) or Bachelor’s degree (S1), majoring in relevant fields such as Management, Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or equivalent.

Experience in procurement / purchasing — especially handling import processes (international negotiation, import documentation, logistics, etc.).

Proficient in using a computer and office software (MS Office, spreadsheets); experience with ERP or procurement software is a plus.

Detail‑oriented, good communication skills, able to negotiate and work under deadlines, and coordinate across departments.

High integrity and strong work ethic — especially in managing documents, contracts, and import/procurement administration.
