Product Designer

The Role: We need a Product Designer who can handle both UX strategy and visual execution. You'll own the design process end-to-end: from research to final UI, making sure our marketplace looks incredible and actually works for our community.

This isn't a \"make it pretty\" role. You'll dig into user problems, test solutions, and ship designs that move metrics.

What You'll Do: Research & Strategy Run user research and turn insights into product improvements. Not just reports that sit in Notion Build personas and journey maps that the whole team actually uses to make decisions Analyze data to figure out what users need, not just what they say they want

Design & Execution Design clean, detailed UI that's ready to ship. Every screen, every state, every edge case Keep our design system consistent and evolve it as we scale. Suggest improvements, don't just follow the rules Prototype fast using Figma Make, V0, and Lovable. We move quickly and iterate constantly Test your designs with real users and A/B test features. Make data-backed decisions

Collaboration Work directly with developers and PMs to ship ambitious designs that are actually buildable Present your work clearly. Explain your decisions with research and logic, not just vibes Push back when needed. We want strong opinions, loosely held

What We're Looking For: Must-Haves 2-3+ years designing digital products with a portfolio showing both UX thinking and UI craft Proficient Figma skills (design systems, prototyping, components, the whole toolkit) Experience with AI prototyping tools like V0, Lovable, or similar to prototype fast Solid UX foundation: research methods, usability testing, design thinking frameworks Strong understanding of interaction design, information architecture, and accessibility Can talk to developers. You understand technical constraints and what's realistic to build

Nice-to-Haves: You're into sneakers/streetwear and already use Kick Avenue (seriously helps you understand our users) Experience designing marketplace or e-commerce products Comfortable presenting to leadership and defending your decisions Experience working with analytics tools like GA4, Firebase, or Microsoft Clarity Available to start soon
