Role Overview We are seeking a highly skilled

Project Delivery Engineer

with strong firewall expertise and MSP experience to support client firewall replacement projects. This role requires hands-on technical execution, multi-project coordination, and strong client communication skills. The primary focus will be leading migrations from

SonicWall to WatchGuard

firewalls while collaborating closely with project management, procurement, and on-site technical teams.

Key Responsibilities Firewall Migration & Project Delivery Review signed client quotes for SonicWall to WatchGuard firewall replacements. Access and assess existing SonicWall configurations. Rebuild and replicate configurations within WatchGuard environments. Collaborate with procurement to coordinate hardware shipment. Partner with on-site resources for physical installation and rack deployment. Remain on standby during cutovers to validate connectivity, security policies, and full functionality. Support multiple firewall projects concurrently.

Additional Firewall & Security Support Assist vulnerability team with firewall-related tasks during non-project periods. Provide advanced troubleshooting and configuration support. Ensure accurate documentation of all changes and migration steps.

Core Requirements Strong hands-on experience with

SonicWall and WatchGuard firewalls

(configuration, migration, troubleshooting). Proven background in

project delivery within an MSP environment . Experience managing multiple simultaneous technical projects. Excellent written and verbal communication skills (client-facing and internal). Ability to adapt quickly when project scope or requirements shift. Maintain minimum 80% billable utilization.

General Technical Responsibilities Deploy and modify advanced technical solutions. Execute complex migrations and infrastructure changes. Design and configure: Network and firewall infrastructures Switches and wireless networks Active Directory (on-premises and Azure AD) Microsoft Entra Connect and M365 integrations Virtual machines, clustering, and high availability environments Backup and recovery solutions Build and design both cloud and on-premises infrastructure. Configure and troubleshoot Windows services and environments. Design and implement GPOs across enterprise environments. Support cloud platforms including AWS, Azure, or OCI.

Technical Qualifications 3–7 years of directly related experience. Advanced networking knowledge (physical and virtual). Advanced DNS (internal/external). Strong expertise in: Active Directory (on-prem and Azure AD) M365 licensing and configuration Virtualization and clustering Cloud platforms (AWS/Azure preferred) Intermediate knowledge of Intune and Autopilot.

Communication & Professional Skills Strong professional English (written and verbal). Ability to communicate clearly with clients and executive stakeholders. Strong documentation and process-writing skills. Ability to present technical information to non-technical audiences.

Preferred Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience). Relevant certifications (Microsoft, Cisco CCNA/CCNP, VMware VCP, ITIL, etc.). Experience with ConnectWise (Manage, Automate, Control), SCCM, or similar tools. Subject Matter Expertise in technologies such as Microsoft, VMware, Cisco, Citrix. Prior MSP experience strongly preferred.
