PT. Teman Petualang Indonesia distributes leading brands in work‑at‑height, safety, and sport climbing, including Beal.
Key Responsibilities
Professional & Industrial Sales (Primary Focus)
Grow sales of Beal work‑at‑height and safety products (e.g., semi‑static ropes, intervention ropes, harnesses, helmets, lanyards, fall‑arrest systems) in key sectors such as military/tactical units, rope access and tower companies, and PPE and safety distributors.
Develop and manage a pipeline of projects, tenders, and regular B2B orders.
Prepare quotations, proposals, and tender documents for key accounts and institutional clients.
Climbing & Active Sport Sales (Secondary but Important)
Manage and grow sales of Beal Sport, La Sportiva, Black Diamond, and other active brands into climbing communities and events.
Support gyms and athletes with product programs, small sponsorships, demos, and events.
Brand & Channel Management
Define and execute go‑to‑market and positioning for Beal (PRO & Sport) and the Active Sport portfolio across industrial, B2B, retail, and gym channels.
Set and monitor sales targets per channel; create visit plans and account plans to achieve them.
Monitor assortment, pricing, and stock levels to maximize sell‑out and brand visibility.
Product Knowledge & Technical Support
Build strong technical knowledge of Beal ropes and other height safety and climbing products (standards, applications, lifespan, inspection basics).
Deliver product demos, technical presentations, and training for gyms, retailers, and internal teams.
Coordinate with brand principals and technical trainers for advanced training or certification when needed.
Relationships, Events & Collaboration
Maintain and grow key accounts through regular visits and business reviews.
Represent the brands at relevant industry events, trade shows, and climbing activities.
Work closely with marketing, retail, logistics, and finance to make sure plans are executable and delivered well.
Qualifications
Minimum 2 years’ experience in sales, key account management, or brand management; preference for experience in PPE/industrial safety, work‑at‑height, or technical equipment.
Proven record of working with B2B or key accounts and achieving targets.
Comfortable with technical products and able to explain specifications and standards clearly to professional users.
Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship‑building skills.
Good communication in Bahasa Indonesia and English (written and spoken).
Willing to travel for client visits, meetings, and events.
Plus point if you understand rope access, rescue, fire/military operations, or are familiar with climbing and outdoor sports.
