HSE Manager Manufacturing

Lead and manage the implementation of Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) strategies across manufacturing operations to ensure full regulatory and corporate compliance. Oversee sustainability monitoring and reporting for group, customers, brands, and government authorities. Support Sales and Marketing teams in fulfilling customer sustainability requirements, including chemical compliance documentation, sustainability surveys, and declarations. Represent the company as auditee during brand audits and certification processes (including Global Recycle Standard), particularly related to environmental and sustainability requirements. Develop, monitor, and document sustainability programs to ensure achievement of group sustainability targets. Manage Chemical Inventory List for all substances used in production and ensure compliance with applicable Restricted Substance List (RSL), including new and existing chemicals. Control and monitor RSL implementation within manufacturing processes. Ensure effective implementation and continuous improvement of 6S practices across manufacturing areas. Control and monitor overall Health & Safety (HS) implementation to maintain a safe working environment. Ensure environmental regulations and compliance requirements are up to date, well communicated to related departments, and properly implemented. Deliver training programs related to environmental compliance, sustainability, chemical handling, and HSE awareness. Lead, manage, and develop the HS team to achieve operational excellence and safety performance targets. Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Occupational Health & Safety, or related field. Minimum 10 years of experience in HSE role within high-risk manufacturing environments such as paint, chemical, heavy equipment, or similar hazardous industries. Strong knowledge of environmental regulations, chemical compliance, sustainability standards, and audit processes. Proven experience in managing Restricted Substance List (RSL) and chemical inventory control. Fluent in English

(spoken and written) is mandatory. NEBOSH certificate is a plus. Certification AK3U is required; ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 certification/auditor training is a plus. Strong analytical thinking, logical problem-solving skills, and continuous improvement mindset. Proven leadership capability in managing and developing teams.
