APAC Senior Accounting and Reporting Lead - Global Payments (Jakarta) Responsibilities

The APAC Accounting and Reporting team is responsible for core financial accounting activities of entities within the region.

Establish in‑region accounting processes for multiple businesses, provide financial guidance, and collaborate cross‑functionally to ensure accurate and compliant reporting.

Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements, review, analyze and report in accordance with applicable accounting principles and regulations across the APAC region.

In charge of accounting and reporting for the Group's Global Payment entities in APAC, including but not limited to Indonesian entities.

Post journal entries, perform monthly account reconciliation, ensure accuracy of the financial report, and prepare trial balances and financial statements in a timely manner.

Liaise with external auditors during annual financial audits and statutory reporting for assigned entities; manage the full audit cycle.

Prepare financial data to support the tax team in completing tax submissions and assist in tax inspections, if any.

Assist and provide support in any inquiries related to finance data raised by the local regulatory government, if any.

Prepare financial data required for government declarations and other statutory filings.

Provide financial data and analysis to meet the business needs of other departments.

Collaborate with Tax, Legal, Treasury, FSSC and other related teams to ensure compliance with local regulations.

Support ad‑hoc projects, including system enhancements and process improvements.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.

Extensive experience from a Big 4 firm within payments or financial institutions, or in financial and compliance reporting within payments, fintech, banking or consumer finance sectors.

Familiarity with seller finance, Buy‑Now‑Pay‑Later (BNPL) and other credit businesses.

Experience in month‑end closing, conducting analytical reviews and preparing full sets of accounts.

Basic knowledge of tax requirements and regulatory compliance across SEA countries.

Familiarity with financial internal control processes, system implementation and process optimization.

Excellent interpersonal, communication and project‑management skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams and meet tight deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications:

Professional accounting qualifications such as CPA, ACCA or CA.

Strong knowledge of IFRS and familiarity with local financial and compliance regulations from OJK.
