SOC Engineer

About the role Join PT. Aviro Global Teknologi as a full-time SOC Engineer based in South Jakarta, Jakarta. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in the company's information security operations, monitoring and responding to potential threats to ensure the integrity and availability of critical systems.

What you’ll be doing

Monitoring and analysing security logs and events from various systems and tools to identify potential security incidents or threats

Investigating and responding to security alerts, incidents and events, and coordinating with relevant teams to mitigate and resolve issues

Conducting regular security assessments and vulnerability scans to proactively identify and address security risks

Implementing and maintaining security tools, technologies and processes to enhance the company’s security posture

Providing security-related reporting and metrics to stakeholders

Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure an integrated and holistic approach to information security

Staying up-to-date with the latest security threats, trends and best practices in the industry

What we’re looking for

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field

Minimum 3 years of experience in a Security Operations Center (SOC) or Incident Response role

Strong understanding of security monitoring, incident response, and threat management concepts

Proficient in using security tools and technologies such as SIEM, IPS/IDS, firewalls, and vulnerability management systems

Hands-on experience in log analysis, event correlation, and incident investigation

Familiarity with security frameworks, standards and compliance requirements

Excellent problem-solving, analytical and troubleshooting skills

Ability to work effectively in a team and communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Willing to work on shifting with SLA 24x7
