JUNIOR ARCHITECT (Fit Out Office Interior)

JUNIOR ARCHITECT (Fit Out Office Interior) Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture or Interior Design.

[Mandatory] Proficient in English (Spoken, Written, and Read).

3 years of proven experience specifically in Office Interior Design.

Software Proficiency: AutoCAD, SketchUp + Rendering (Enscape / Lumion) & other Design Software.

Adobe Creative Suite: Photoshop and InDesign for presentation boards and "Look & Feel" proposals.

Revit (BIM): Increasingly required for larger commercial projects to manage complex MEP and structural layers.

Knowledge of Building Codes, Detail Orientation, Agility and the ability to communicate effectively with both site workers and corporate clients.

Physicallyfit and Ability to meet tight deadlines and handle multiple tenders simultaneously.

Possession of a valid SIM A and / or SIM C (driver’s licenses) is preferred.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Technical Documentation (The "Working Drawing"): Producing detailed construction drawings, including layout plans, MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) coordination, reflected ceiling plans (RCP), and custom joinery/furniture details.

Space Planning & Concept Support: Assisting Designers in optimizing office layouts for "flow" (productivity, acoustics, and zoning) while adhering to corporate branding.

Site Surveys & Measurements: Visiting potential project sites to conduct accurate measurements ("as-built" drawings) to ensure designs fit the physical constraints.

Vendor & Sub-contractor Liaison: Communicating with glass, MEP, and flooring contractors to ensure their shop drawings align with the main architectural intent.

Material Selection & BOQ Assistance: Helping prepare the Bill of Quantities (BOQ) and sourcing finishes (carpets, acoustic panels, ergonomic furniture) that fit the client's budget.

Site Supervision: Regularly visiting the site to ensure the construction team is following the blueprints and resolving minor technical "clashes" on the spot.

Reporting: Preparing comprehensive design presentations and material boards for client briefings.
