Technical Drafter (Marine)

Key Responsibilities:Prepare and revise 2D/3D technical drawings for ship construction, repair, and modification projects.Translate engineering concepts and specifications into accurate shop drawings for fabrication and installation.Update drawings based on design changes, engineer instructions, and field survey results.Produce and maintain as-built drawings and technical documentation reflecting actual project conditions.Develop material lists and support engineering calculations related to structures and components.Ensure all drawings comply with relevant standards and regulations (IACS, BKI, ISO, ASME, etc.).Coordinate with engineers, project teams, and workshop/shipyard personnel to ensure drawings are accurate and applicable. QualificationsBachelor's degree in Naval Architecture or related field.Proven experience as a Technical Drafter or CAD Drafter (experience in maritime or shipbuilding industry is a plus).Proficient in CAD software (such as AutoCAD or similar drafting tools).Strong understanding of technical drawings, mechanical components, piping systems, and structural layouts.Detail-oriented with strong documentation and organizational skills.Able to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
