Marine Surveyor

Maritim Surveindo Internusa (MSI) is an independent marine surveyor and consultancy firm established in 2017. The company specializes in Hull and Machinery surveys, including damage and without prejudice surveys, as well as Cargo Surveys, such as pre‑shipment and lashing inspections. MSI also provides professional services in Condition Surveys and JH143 Risk Assessment Surveys. With a commitment to quality and accuracy, MSI serves a diverse range of marine industry needs.

Role Description This is a full‑time, on‑site role for a Marine Surveyor based in

Jakarta, Indonesia . The Marine Surveyor will be responsible for conducting inspections and performing marine surveys.

Responsibilities

Day‑to‑day tasks include performing hull and machinery inspections, condition surveys, and providing risk assessment reports.

The candidate will work closely with clients to ensure compliance with industry standards and provide expert marine consulting services.

Willingness to travel extensively and frequently outside the city and islands is a mandatory requirement for this role, based on operational needs.

Qualifications

Has a degree in Naval Architecture, Marine Engineering, or Seafarer Competency Certificate (ANT/ATT)

Minimum

1 year

of experience in Marine Surveying or a relevant maritime engineering field

Strong understanding of ship structure and marine engines

Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and reporting skills

Ability to work both independently and in a team

Proficiency in English, both written and verbal

Estimated Take Home Pay Up to IDR 6,500,000 (Based on Qualification and Competences)
