What You’ll Be Doing (The Tech Stuff) ️
You’ll be the master of our internal tech ecosystem. Expect to own these key areas:
Server & Virtualization Guru:
You’ll be in charge of maintaining the health and availability of our internal servers, Virtual Machines (VMs), and specifically our Proxmox virtualization environment. No pressure, but everything runs on this! - MUST HAVE SKILL
Network Captain:
Configuration, monitoring, and troubleshooting of our entire office network setup (LAN, WAN, Internet). Your mission: stable, speedy, and secure connectivity for everyone.
First Responder Helpdesk:
Be the go-to person for fast, effective technical support (Tier 1 & Tier 2) for all hardware, software, and connectivity issues faced by our team.
The "Behind the Scenes" Operations (The Structured Part)
This role is crucial for our compliance and asset strategy. You will be the point person for all IT purchases:
IT Asset Master:
Full-cycle management of all IT inventory (hardware, software licenses). This includes tracking, assignment, lifecycle management, and strict inventory reconciliation.
IT Procurement Cycle:
Unlike general purchasing, you’ll manage the entire IT procurement process—from drafting technical specs and getting vendor quotes to ensuring budget adherence and final delivery.
Documentation Ninja:
You must ensure all purchases, asset assignments, and troubleshooting incidents are thoroughly and accurately documented for internal audits and proper record‑keeping.
Mandatory Checkpoints (If you don’t tick these, maybe skip this one!)
Experience:
A solid 3+ years in a direct IT Support, Helpdesk, or SysAdmin role, ideally in a fast‑paced corporate environment.
Core Tech Skills:
Hands‑on, proven experience managing Proxmox (or other similar VM hypervisors) and expert‑level configuration/troubleshooting of network hardware (switches, firewalls, etc.).
Operational Know‑How:
Strong understanding and practical experience with IT Asset Management and the end‑to‑end IT Procurement cycle.
Availability:
You WILL be ready to start immediately (Immediate Joiner) to fill this critical operational gap.
