About the Role
We are looking for a highly organized and proactive
Legal Assistant
to support a U.S.-based legal team in a fully remote capacity. This is a client-facing administrative role that requires excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced legal environment.

Key Responsibilities
Client & Attorney Support
Answer client phone calls, take detailed messages, and serve as a communication bridge between attorneys and clients.
Provide timely updates to clients regarding case status, progress, and next steps.
Respond promptly and professionally to all inquiries.
Calendar & Case Management
Manage attorney calendars, schedule court dates, hearings, depositions, and important deadlines.
Assist with e-filing processes and maintain accurate and organized case records.
Review and draft routine legal documents, correspondence, and reports.
Billing & Documentation
Input attorney time entries accurately for billing statements.
Prepare client status reports and manage reconciliations.
Draft, review, and manage legal correspondence related to case updates.
Required Skills & Qualifications
3–5 years of experience
as a Legal Assistant, Legal Secretary, or similar administrative role.
Fluent in
English
(required) and Spanish (preferred).
Strong skills in
drafting legal documents , reviewing deeds, liens, and other recorded documents.
Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
Proactive, resourceful, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to meet deadlines consistently and maintain a positive, professional work ethic.
Preferred Education
Associate degree in Legal Studies or a related field is preferred.
Relevant experience will also be considered in place of formal education.
