Job Summary
As a Dietitian, you will play a vital role in remotely coordinating and managing the medical care of patients. Utilizing telecommunication technology, you will provide virtual consultations, collaborate with healthcare teams, and ensure seamless delivery of patient-centered care. Role and Responsibilities
Provide Medical Nutrition Therapy (MNT) through diet counseling and nutrition education, adhering to the Standard Dietetic Practice Guidelines and Code of Professional Conduct.
Conduct comprehensive nutrition assessments, develop personalized care plans, and monitor and evaluate patients' progress.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams, participating in integrated patient case reviews and ensuring coordinated care.
Develop, review, and update nutrition education materials and teaching tools to support patient education.
Implement and evaluate new nutrition and dietetic care programs as directed.
Conduct training sessions and workshops for nursing and other related departments.
Community Nutrition
Deliver public talks, in-house lectures, and workshops on nutrition and dietetics-related topics.
Develop and implement community nutrition projects, such as health and nutrition campaigns, to promote public health.
Care Coordination
Serve as the primary point of contact for patients, healthcare providers, and other stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and care coordination.
Collect and review patients' medical records, conduct assessments, and collaborate with patients to develop personalized care plans.
Prepare clinical case summaries and explain Expert's Opinion Reports to patients.
Continuously monitor patients' progress, adjust care plans as needed, and provide ongoing medical guidance and education.
Collaborate with the Medical Director and Care Coordinator on quality and service improvement initiatives.
Deliver remote advisory services, including Expert Medical Opinion (EMO), Health Advisory, Chronic Disease Care, Coaching/Education, and Referral.
Key Requirements
Education and Certification
Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelorโs Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, or Professional Degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or Food Science.
Minimum of 5 years of relevant working experience in a similar environment.
Possess a Dietitian certificate and practice licence with a good practicing record.
Clinically active and committed to staying updated on telemedicine advancements and industry standards.
Skills and Competencies
Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
Proficiency in English and Vietnamese.
Proficiency in utilizing telecommunication technology and telemedicine platforms for virtual consultations.
Self-starter, outgoing, independent, and customer-focused with a friendly disposition.
Excellent organizational skills and ability to meet standard turnaround times for tasks.
