About the Role:
The Transaction Monitoring (TM) Reporting, and System Lead
is responsible for overseeing AML transaction monitoring activities, regulatory reporting, and system enhancements to ensure compliance with OJK regulations and internal AML/CFT policies. This role leads monitoring operations (live and post-monitoring), drives system development and regulatory implementation initiatives, and acts as the key liaison with regulators, law enforcement, partners, and internal stakeholders.
The role also ensures continuous improvement of monitoring effectiveness, anti-fraud controls, and reporting frameworks in alignment with evolving regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
AML CFT WMD and Anti Fraud Transaction Monitoring Oversight
Completing live monitoring and post-monitoring activities.
Review and enhance monitoring thresholds and scenarios to ensure effectiveness.
Develop and implement new alert operational flows (including INTRAC requirements).
Conduct UAT for TM system enhancements.
AML CFT WMD Regulatory Reporting
Prepare and submit AML-related regulatory reports, including (DTTOT, WMD, SIPENA, IRA, SIPENDAR, LTKM / LTKMP / SAR, Temporary block reporting, FIR, Incidental reporting).
Develop and implement Travel Rule reporting (new OJK requirement).
Implement IASC system and procedures related to AML reporting and investigation (new OJK requirement).
AML CFT WMD Watchlist & Screening
Manage Indonesian watchlist updates and conduct screening against existing customers.
Regulatory & External Liaison
Respond to requests from Regulators, Law Enforcement, Partners, FI partners, and Clearing Institution.
Support regulatory socialization and system implementation initiatives (including IASC).
Handle responses related to TM and investigation.
System & Policy Development
Lead development and enhancement of the TM system and anti-fraud parameters.
Develop BRD and internal memos related to AML/CFT /WMD enhancements.
Update and maintain AML/CFT/WMD Policies and Procedures.
Implement additional anti-fraud scenarios
Governance & Escalation
Report significant AML CFT WMD issues to Management.
Ensure strong governance and documentation standards in AML CFT WMD investigations.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Law, Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field.
Minimum 5+ years of experience in AML/CFT/WMD, Transaction Monitoring, or Financial Crime Compliance, preferably in financial services, fintech, banking, or crypto industry.
Strong understanding of OJK AML/CFT/WMD regulations and reporting systems (e.g., SIPENA, STR, SIPENDAR, IRA, etc.).
Experience in TM system development, threshold/scenario tuning, and UAT processes.
Experience handling AML CFT WMD regulatory reporting and regulator/law enforcement inquiries.
Knowledge of anti-fraud transaction monitoring and Travel Rule implementation is highly preferred.
Strong analytical, investigation, and problem-solving skills.
Leadership experience with the ability to manage monitoring teams and cross-functional coordination.
Strong communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia and English.
High integrity and ability to work under regulatory scrutiny and tight deadlines.
