Role Overview

Within a global lifecycle services division, capacity and resource planning requires stabilization and standardization. The business is experiencing significant growth and requires reliable portfolio visibility to support financial planning and headcount decisions.

This assignment focuses on establishing Planisware Orchestra as the single source of truth for capacity and demand planning across the global portfolio.

This is a hands-on implementation and transformation role, not purely technical configuration.

During the engagement, you will:

Establish a trusted capacity vs. demand view in Planisware Orchestra Standardize resource structures including roles, pools, and allocation logic Align planning cadence with portfolio governance and financial cycles Eliminate parallel Excel-based planning processes Enable sustainable internal process ownership

Scope of Work

Assess current Planisware Orchestra configuration Design and implement a fit-for-purpose capacity planning model Configure resource pools, role hierarchies, and allocation rules

Implement dashboards for:

Capacity vs demand Overload / underload visibility Scenario analysis Define governance model, RACI, and planning calendar Train stakeholders and ensure structured handover

Required Experience

5+ years hands-on Planisware Orchestra configuration and administration Proven implementation of portfolio-level capacity and resource planning Experience in complex engineering or service organisations Strong understanding of portfolio governance and financial alignment Demonstrated ability to drive change with senior stakeholders

Preferred:

Experience in industrial or energy environments Exposure to AI enablement tools (e.g. Copilot Studio)
