Technician, Digital 1 (Tobacco Printing Packaging - Batam)

Overview

The Digital 1 Technician is responsible for maintenance and troubleshooting of the Gallus ONE Digital 1 inkjet label press. This role ensures optimal machine performance, high-quality output, and minimal downtime in a fast-paced production environment. Responsibilities

Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on Digital One system. Diagnosing and resolving mechanical, inkjet, and workflow-related issues including hardware and software problems. Utilize automated cleaning systems and predictive monitoring tools to minimize downtime. Maintain accurate records of production, maintenance, and performance data. Adhere to all safety policies, procedures, and legislation to ensure a safe working environment. Qualifications

Education:

Technical diploma or equivalent in Printing Technology, Electronic Engineering. Experience:

2–3 years in digital printing or label press operation (Gallus One or similar systems preferred). Skills:

Knowledgeable about UV system technology and digital press workflow. Skills:

Familiarity with modular press systems and finishing units Flexo. Skills:

Ability to read technical manuals and troubleshoot hardware/software issues. Skills:

Able to program PLCs and drives. Skills:

Strong technical knowledge and troubleshooting skills. Soft skills:

Possess a positive personality and be able to approach people at all levels. Language:

Able to speak and write English.
