The Role: Senior Software Engineer
We are looking for a hands-on, versatile, and innovative Senior Software Engineer
to join our multidisciplinary team. In this role, you’ll take a lead position in developing the
software stack
that powers our high-precision inspection equipment — from
real-time system control
to
data acquisition and analysis , to
UI and automation .
You’ll play a critical role in integrating algorithms, optimizing real-time performance, and ensuring the software enables the system to operate reliably, efficiently, and intelligently in demanding production environments.
What You'll Do
Develop end-to-end software
for high-precision MicroLED inspection systems
Implement and integrate
complex algorithms
for defect detection, classification, and data analysis
Lead
real-time system control and hardware integration , including motion control, optics, sensors, and industrial automation
Design and optimize
data pipelines : acquisition, processing, visualization, and storage of large image datasets
Build and maintain
modular, scalable, testable codebases
with high reliability and performance
Develop and refine
user interfaces
that enable operators to control and monitor system behavior
Contribute to the
architecture and design
of new features and system capabilities
Collaborate closely with
physics, optics, algorithm, and hardware teams
Support on-site deployments and troubleshooting
with global customers
Ensure
software quality
through rigorous testing, version control, and documentation
Requirements
Education & Experience
B.Sc. or higher in
Computer Science ,
Software Engineering , or related field
5+ years
of hands-on software development experience in multidisciplinary R&D environments
Strong background in C#-
object-oriented programming
and design patterns
Proven experience in
hardware/software integration
in systems involving motion control, imaging, or automation
Familiarity with
real-time systems
and performance optimization
Experience working with
scientific or industrial data
(e.g., image processing, machine vision, metrology)
Solid understanding of
multithreading, concurrency, and low-level debugging
Experience with UI development frameworks
(e.g., WPF, Qt, or equivalent)
Bonus Skills
Knowledge of
machine vision ,
image processing , or
AI-based classification
Experience in semiconductor or display manufacturing
environments
Background in
instrument control ,
optics , or
metrology
Exposure to Python
for scripting, prototyping, or algorithm integration
Experience working in
startups
or fast-paced, cross-functional teams
