Senior Platform Engineer - Cloud / Infrastructure / MLOps

We are partnered with a rapidly scaling, open-source technology company focused on building the future of MLOps and AI development tools. The team is looking to be bring on an experienced Senior Platform Engineer to take a leading role in architecting the SaaS control plane, building infra-heavy product features, and act as a technical lead for complex enterprise Kubernetes deployments.

This is a role that can either be conducted onsite in Munich or remotely within Europe. (If not based in Germany, ability to work via B2B is a requirement).

Key Responsibilities for this Senior Platform Engineer position: Design and implement core product features, including native schedulers and workload managers that trigger pipelines across hybrid clouds. Ensure the resilience, scalability, and security of the managed control plane using modern SRE practices. Serve as the technical lead for major enterprise customers, architecting deployments on complex, air-gapped, or custom Kubernetes environments. Build tools and interfaces that abstract the complexity of Kubernetes away from Data Scientists, focusing on a world-class Developer Experience (DX). Work across AWS (EKS), GCP (GKE), and Azure (AKS) to ensure \"run anywhere\" capability for ML pipelines.

Key Requirements: Deep internal knowledge of K8s (CKA level). You should be an expert in Helm, ingress controllers, VPC peering, and cluster internals. Advanced proficiency in Terraform and IaC. Ability to write production-quality code in Python or Go to build features and controllers, moving beyond simple scripting. Hands-on experience managing managed Kubernetes services across major providers (AWS, GCP, Azure).
