IT User Support Expert
We are seeking an
IT User Support Expert
to join our HCLTech team at a prestigious client site in the banking sector, based in Marcq‑en‑Baroeul (59) close to Lille.
This is a permanent, hybrid role offering the opportunity to work on‑site three days per week.
Overview
You will support the infrastructure and IT production. The role involves user support (internal & external), equipment management, troubleshooting, and administration of user accounts and telephony.
Responsibilities
Provide user support (levels 0, 1, and 2 for workstations, telephony, smartphones, and VPN access)
Record and process requests using ticketing tools, escalating to level 2 teams as needed
Prepare and configure equipment (desktops, laptops, printers, scanners), manage equipment movements and stock
Troubleshoot and install equipment, contribute to maintenance interventions
Administer user accounts for relevant tools
Manage and track requests via ticketing tools
Oversee telephony management and, when necessary, coordinate with third‑party operators
Job requirements
5+ years of experience as an IT User Support Engineer, with expertise in infrastructure support and IT production.
Experience in equipment management and stock tracking.
Ability to work in a support and maintenance environment.
Familiarity with ticketing tools and escalation processes.
Strong troubleshooting and installation skills.
Experience in user account administration.
