Position Reward Manager

Job Summary The Reward Manager supports the Group Total Reward function with a specific focus on senior management populations. The role is responsible for managing executive compensation processes, coordinating Long‑Term Incentive (LTI) grants, overseeing Global Benefits governance, and ensuring high‑quality support to HR and business stakeholders on reward matters. The position contributes to the development, governance, and implementation of competitive and compliant reward programmes aligned with Imerys’ global Reward strategy.

Key Responsibilities

Executive Compensation & Senior Manager Rewards

Manage annual compensation review processes for Senior Managers (salary review, bonuses, internal equity checks, benchmarking support).

Prepare compensation proposals and analysis for senior management hiring, promotions, and retention cases.

Maintain and update senior management reward frameworks, ensuring internal consistency and competitiveness.

Long‑Term Incentive (LTI) Program Management

Coordinate annual LTI grant cycles: envelope definition, population eligibility, data validation, documentation, communication materials.

Act as point of contact for HR and managers for all LTI‑related queries (performance conditions, vesting schedules, plan rules).

Support governance deliverables (RemCo materials, simulations, modelling) when required.

Collaborate closely with the IM Manager who oversees vesting operations and ongoing LTI administration.

Global Benefits Management

Support the design, harmonisation, and governance of global benefits programmes (pensions, health, protection, mobility).

Work with local HR teams and external providers to ensure benefit plans are aligned with Group standards and market practice.

Track compliance, cost evolution, and risk exposure across countries.

Contribute to global benefit policy updates and communication.

Reward Governance & Reporting

Contribute to the preparation of materials for Group governance (Executive Committee, Remuneration Committee, CSRD‑related deliverables).

Ensure compliance with internal policies, legal requirements, and best practices in compensation & benefits.

Prepare reporting and analytics for senior stakeholders (reward dashboards, cost simulations, KPI follow‑up).

Support audits, controls, and documentation of reward processes.

Qualifications & Experience

Degree in Human Resources, Management, Finance, or a related field.

3–5 years of experience in compensation & benefits, ideally with exposure to executive compensation or global benefits.

Solid experience with job evaluation methods, market survey, benefits pooling and international regulatory compliance with a French listed company.

Skills & Person Specification

Strong analytical and quantitative skills; comfort with Google Suite, Excel and reward modelling.

Ability to manage sensitive information and interact with senior stakeholders with discretion and professionalism.

Ability to work in a diverse environment.

Excellent communication and project management skills.

Strong client‑focused orientation, demonstrating a commitment to understanding and meeting the needs of internal and external stakeholders.

Excellent attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and precision in all tasks.

Organised and structured, able to maintain order and efficiency in a dynamic work environment.

Agile and adaptable, with the ability to manage and prioritise multiple parallel projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines and delivering quality results.

Fluent in both English and French.
