Job Responsibilities As a Service Technician, you will master customer service skills, independently manage field service support for Bystronic equipment, resolve issues, perform repairs, lead installations and commissioning, provide first-level technical support, train customers on our applications, and foster positive relationships. What you will do: Demonstrate strong customer service skills. Perform field services on all Bystronic equipment and products (laser cutting, bending, automation). Diagnose and repair with minimal assistance. Perform installations, commissioning, and start-ups of equipment. Provide first-level technical support on-site. Train customers on metalworking applications, machine procedures, and safety. Demonstrate technical specialist knowledge on one or more products. Build positive relationships with customers. Permanent Contract (CDI), executive status. Your profile: Mechanical / electrical background. At least 2 to 3 years of experience in customer service and / or technical service. Experience in the sheet metal bending or laser cutting industry is not only valuable but also a key asset. What you need to succeed: Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime and weekends if necessary. Approximately 80% of travel within a 3-hour radius from your residence. Technical English required (reading technical documentation and attending technical training at our production centers in various factories abroad). Ability to make effective decisions and creatively design programs to increase sales and enhance customer satisfaction based on business needs. Ability to balance priorities based on repair workload. Proven ability to perform well as a self-starter and work effectively within a team.
