Trade Marketing Manager (Customer Planning & Activation Manager) – Cavistes – Diageo

Job Description
Diageo, a global leader in alcoholic beverages with a portfolio of over 200 brands including Talisker, Singleton, Zacapa, Don Julio, Tanqueray, and Guinness, seeks a creative, audacious and determined Customer Planning & Activation Manager to join its Cavistes channel team.
Missions Principales
Co‑construct and implement priority brand activation plans through visibility tools, tasting campaigns, seasonal highlights, POS displays, merchandising and training.
Ensure brand attractiveness to retailers and stimulate in‑store rotation with impactful, high‑quality, differentiated actions.
Coordination opérationnelle transversale
Work closely with Commercial teams to align business objectives, client priorities and activation plans.
Collaborate with the Shopper Cavistes and Brand Ambassador Cavistes to ensure consistency of retail levers, meet client and consumer needs and reinforce engagement and experience around our brands.
Coordinate with Marketing teams to guarantee adherence to strategic priorities and brand identities in all field executions.
Suivi de performance & gestion budgétaire
Track, analyze and communicate activation performance: execution quality, impact on sell‑out, ROI and key insights.
Manage the budget allocated to the channel and brands, maintain rigorous expense tracking in partnership with Finance and Cost Control.
Veille concurrentielle & insights marché
Observe and analyze competitors’ activation, market trends and success mechanics specific to the Cavistes channel.
Share regular benchmarks, lessons and best practices to fuel internal reflections and continuous improvement.
Votre Profil
At least 5 years proven experience in trade marketing / brand activation, preferably in the Cavistes network.
Knowledge of field execution challenges and an appetite for the Cavistes universe.
Passion for the spirits market, product knowledge and production methods.
Comfortable managing multiple projects and working collaboratively across teams.
Strong network and ability to forge solid relationships, with effective influence and leadership both internal and external.
Excellent analytical skills, able to synthesize data and generate actionable insights.
Agility and rigor: ability to thrive in a dynamic matrix organization.
Excellent communication skills: clear, concise and persuasive messages in French and English.
