Eco-design engineer (m/w/d)

Summary The Ecodesign Engineer is responsible for integrating eco-friendly design practices into tenders and projects while ensuring compliance with the Environmental Management System (ISO 14001). The primary goal is to enhance the environmental performance of products and contribute to ongoing research and development in ecodesign.

Responsibilities

Manage and implement ecodesign for tenders and projects.

Feed eco design input into the Environmental Management System (ISO 14001).

Propose and manage eco design commitments and work plans.

Conduct compliance assessments and eco design studies for R&D.

Prepare and maintain eco design management plans and specifications.

Implement and apply ecodesign methodologies in product design.

Support continuous improvement of eco design practices.

Train and raise awareness regarding ecodesign within the organization.

Must Haves

Ecodesign Engineer or Material Engineer with environmental competencies.

Generalist engineer with material competencies.

Nice to Haves

Experience in the industry sector.

Knowledge of international standards and regulations regarding environmental issues.

Skills in environmental assessment techniques (LCA, carbon balance).

Proficiency in English (conversational, writing, reading) at an advanced level.

Conversational and reading proficiency in French is preferred.
