We're looking for a Senior Rails Engineer to own and scale the Ruby on Rails layer of our AI-native data platform. You'll be responsible for the core B2B SaaS experience: dashboards, APIs, auth, permissions, and the product surface that both humans and AI agents rely on every day.

Requirements 5+ years of backend engineering experience, with deep experience in Ruby on Rails

Strong track record building B2B SaaS products with complex dashboards and workflows

Deep understanding of PostgreSQL (schema design, migrations, performance, data integrity)

Hands‑on experience designing and operating APIs at scale

Solid knowledge of authentication & authorization systems (OAuth, SSO, permissions)

Strong grasp of system design, API boundaries, and long‑term architectural trade‑offs

Product‑minded, autonomous, and comfortable operating with high ownership and ambiguity

Experience with multi‑tenant SaaS architectures

Built or maintained design‑system‑backed dashboards used by technical and non‑technical users

Familiarity with event‑driven systems and background job processing (Sidekiq, Faktory, etc.)

Experience working closely with frontend teams (React, GraphQL clients)

Exposure to AI‑powered features or systems used by automated agents

Responsibilities Own the Rails backend powering our B2B SaaS product and internal APIs

Design and evolve a clean, expressive GraphQL API used by both the web app and AI agents

Build robust systems for auth, permissions, organizations, billing, and environments

Partner with frontend engineers to deliver high‑quality dashboards and workflows

Ensure correctness, performance, and maintainability of our Postgres data models

Make architectural decisions that balance product velocity and long‑term scalability

Shape engineering culture, raise the bar on code quality, and mentor others

Act as a technical owner for large product areas, from conception to production
