As an OBGYN joining our cohesive team in beautiful Vernon, you’ll quickly appreciate the professional camaraderie and the quality of life this location offers. Your day-to-day will include: On‑call consultative Obstetrics, addressing unique cases such as twin pregnancies or complex obstetric scenarios; On‑call Gynecology services, which may involve home calls and occasional overnight work; Collaboration with our GP and midwifery partners, supporting a hospital that averages 800‑900 deliveries each year; Generous OR time with frequent opportunities to work on challenging cases; A clinic commitment of 1–4 days per week, with 2–3 OR days each month, covering the full spectrum of Gynecology from infertility care to complex laparoscopic surgery. VJH offers a broad spectrum of medical services, advanced care, and state‑of‑the‑art facilities, serving a catchment area of 86,000 people. Being part of VJH means you’ll play a pivotal role in delivering top‑quality healthcare services across emergency, surgery, critical care, maternity and newborn care, mental health, laboratory, and rehabilitation services. Compensation Type : Fee‑for‑Service Estimated Remuneration : Approximate gross annual of $400,000, determined by a fee‑for‑service payment structure and MOCAP level 1. Physician Overhead : Monthly overhead could range from $4,000 to $7,000, depending on office selection and setup requirements. Benefits and Incentives

Relocation Funding

Available: $9,000 for moves within BC, $12,000 within Canada, and $15,000 for moves from outside Canada. Please note incentives are subject to change and rates are confirmed at the time of offer.
