Field Service Engineer (m|f|d) Lyon-based

Job Description

You will carry out preventive maintenance, repairs, installations, and updates of equipment and training on equipment intended for the fields of research and clinical.

You will provide on-site assistance in troubleshooting and repairs.

You will ensure the functionality and safety of research and clinical equipment in accordance with current specifications and regulations.

You will write technical documentation and intervention reports.

You will manage your car stock and work closely with the sales and applications team to provide excellent customer support.

Qualifications

You have a bachelor’s degree in electrical, electronic, and mechatronics engineering. You have extensive experience as a field service engineer ideally with a background in research/clinical or diagnostics equipment.

You have a solid understanding of electronics, mechanics, fluidics, and optics. Basic knowledge of natural sciences, diagnostics, therapeutics, and biology is desirable.

Experience with imaging, flow cytometry or cell sorting equipment is an advantage.

Fluency in (technical) English and French is essential. Knowledge of IT tools (hardware and software) is required.

You will have a quality customer service, organizational, and planning mindset, combined with the ability to technically analyze the problems to be solved. You will travel regionally and domestically with occasional international travel.

Additional Information Further information This position is home-office based in the Lyon area and includes an attractive bonus and a company car (valid clean driving license mandatory).
