FPGA Engineer

Overview We are excited to be supporting a fast-growing start-up building autonomous defence systems, who are looking to add an FPGA Engineer to their R&D team in Paris. This role offers the opportunity to work on real-time wireless communication systems, collaborating closely with embedded and RF engineers on cutting‑edge signal processing challenges.

As the FPGA Engineer, you’ll be responsible for developing high‑performance DSP pipelines for drone‑to‑base station links and will be involved throughout the full FPGA development lifecycle—from early prototyping to production‑ready deployment.

Responsibilities •

Develop high‑performance DSP pipelines for drone‑to‑base station links. •

Participate in design, implementation, verification, and production deployment of FPGA solutions. •

Collaborate with embedded and RF engineers on real‑time wireless communication systems.

Qualifications

FPGA design and development (VHDL/Verilog)

Strong understanding of digital signal processing (FFT, QAM, FSK, OFDM)

Experience with FEC techniques (LDPC, Turbo), DUC/DDC, and AGC

Familiarity with RF system integration and real‑time constraints

Degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering
