Job Overview
A 3‑year apprenticeship entitled
“Apprentice in a journey in the SOC services (M/F)”
has opened within
Airbus Protect
on its Toulouse – Blagnac site. The apprenticeship is part of the certified training programme by the Airbus Cybersecurity School in partnership with Toulouse Ynov Campus and starts in September 2026.
As a work‑study student, you will join the Managed Security Services team responsible for cyber‑defence operations for Airbus Protect clients.
This position requires security clearance or eligibility for clearance by recognised authorities.
Tasks & Responsibilities
Under the guidance of your Airbus tutor, you will contribute to:
1st year (dedicated SOC – nnSOC):
Investigate incidents on the dedicated incidents pipe.
Contextualise and cross‑check information from various sources.
Reduce false‑positive levels and improve operational efficiency.
Propose new solutions and processes to optimise investigation.
2nd year (mutualised SOC):
Investigate incidents or L1 escalations.
Contextualise and cross‑check information from various sources.
Report on a regular basis.
Maintain the knowledge detection database.
Reduce false‑positive levels and improve operational efficiency.
Propose new solutions and processes to optimise investigation.
3rd year (attack implementation and analysis):
Define a selection of known attacks.
Implement them in a laboratory environment.
Analyse attacks and define adequate detection capabilities and associated defence measures.
Implement and evaluate defence and detection capacities.
Key Deliverables
Internal deliverables: Case investigation reports.
External deliverables: A synthesis summarising the apprentice’s experience on the topic.

Skills & Prerequisites
You are currently enrolled in, or have already completed, at least a two‑year higher education degree (Bac+2) in the IT field.
